Happy pagan Eostre!
Pagan? Eastern Orthodoxy is the oldest form of Christianity. Here is why it's called Pascha, not Easter:
It’s Pascha, Not Easter! – Another City
You can call it anything you want. I call it “just another Sunday.”
Cool down, Cal.
All he did was greet fellow-Christians.
Really, I don't know why the very mention of anything Christian trigger you quite so easily.
You're reacting to it like you're getting jabbed or getting dragged to the fire, or something.
Your reaction - that's, the mystery to me. It's intriguing. That's worth a thread on its own, you know.
Maybe, you can discuss about it and we'll end up discovering why you're so angry.
What holy water is to Dracula, the mention of Christianity is to you. It gets you hissing automatically. :lamo
I know you want to see the anger you feel in his words but they are not there.
His brother Jesus rose last week.
His reaction to all Christian thread isn't a figment of my imagination.
He seems to be drowning in sarcasms. His reaction to it isn't by any means suggesting he carries
just a chip on his shoulders. Lol. He must be carrying a mountain!
You're in denial.
When people post ridiculous drivel it is fun to expose it and to stretch the minds of those who have no idea of the world.
:lamoYou may call it "making fun."
I see the anger. Angry sarcasm. I can even see some glimpses of pain.
He's not having fun!

And, there is more to it than just simple disbelief, either.
It's like he's trying too hard. About something.

Christ promised to come back within the lifetime of his contemporaries. What's keeping him? He's a bit late.
Yep, right there in black and white. That was the biblical claim; and it didn't happen. Oooops.

It does make us angry when we have explained a point until blue for our position to be miss-represented yet again.
To ask the same question a thousand times and never get anything other than either evasion or lying.
Such is debating with the religious.
What is it to you if people believe in God?
You don't understand why the mention of something religious in a Skeptics sub-forum garners a reaction? Really? I'd pretty much guarantee you're not going to get that reaction from skeptics if it was made in the Theology sub-forum.

In church and your own homes, it matters not. Enjoy! Making the same assertions in an online discussion forum - a place designed to exchange and refute ideas - and whose partial target demographic includes skeptics... the believer obtains precisely the reaction they bargained for in the first place.
