What % of the World Population Is Dangerously Wrong

Death is just an illusion. Sure, the body dies, but it is well-documented that consciousness continues after the brain is dead.

Dr. Sam Parnia estimates the man experienced conscious awareness for three to five minutes in the absence of detectable brain activity, a time, he has said, “when no human experience should be happening whatsoever.”

“When the brain is dead and the tissue has lost its structural integrity, the individual is assumed to no longer be represented within what remains of the organ,” the researchers wrote in PLoS One.

Death is the optical illusion presented to an individual when they experience a sudden loss of representation in a physical body...

There are members of other faiths who would insist that the folly is all yours, and you can't prove them wrong.

OM

Sure I can, but they - like you - have a serious problem discerning the truth of Jesus Christ, and will never admit they're wrong.

People were warned before what would await them if they didn't believe in Jesus.

Which people? I certainly wasn't warned.

"Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on them." - John 3:36

Now it's been revealed to you.

Read Romans chapter 3 for the solution.

Read Romans chapter 3 for the solution.

Those are words, in a very old book.

These are also words, but much more recent: "Mow my lawn or you will suffer eternal damnation!"

Which to believe?!?

you just claimed that was so by copying that claim out of a book

The total world population is closing in on 8 billion people.

Religiously, things roughly break down into these numbers:What are the most widely practiced religions of the world? • The Register

My question is this.

In your humble opinion, what percentage of the world is wrong enough in their beliefs (or lack of beliefs), that they are in grievous danger of spending eternity in a very "bad" place?

Most people are about 90% off on any issue.

They may be on either side of an issue, but if asked to explain or defend their position they are 90% wrong.

Christians are wrong because they think Heaven and Hell are permanent places, but they are only temporary rest from the eternal toil of Ascending back to Godhead that requires many births.

Zero. There is no bad place. There is no good place. There is no place, period.

That sounds like reincarnation to me.

From a Biblical standpoint, reincarnation is a false doctrine: “It is appointed for man to die ONCE, and after that to face the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27).

“The most famous case of alleged reincarnation is that of Bridey Murphy. In 1952 one Virginia Tighe was hypnotized. She reported details of a previous life in Cork, Ireland, as ‘Bridey Murphy.’ While supposedly hypnotized, she spoke in a distinct Irish accent that she did not have normally and described her life in Cork in great detail. Her case was reported as proof of reincarnation in Bernstein’s (1956) best-selling book, "The Search for Bridey Murphy." The case was thoroughly investigated several years later. It was discovered, however, that as a child, Mrs. Tighe had had a neighbor across the street who had grown up in Ireland and used to tell her stories about life there. The woman’s maiden name? You guessed it – Bridey Murphy. Further, it was revealed that Mrs. Tighe had been involved in a theater in high school and had ‘learned several Irish monologues, which she had delivered in what her former teacher referred to as a heavy Irish brogue.'” - Pseudoscience and the Paranormal, Terrance Hines

In some Hindu teachings, if a person is "bad" in the present life, they may well wind up as a protected 'temple rat" in the next life. Which begs the question: If one is a 'bad' temple rat in that life, do they further regress to a temple cockroach, with an infinite regression back to a corrupted amoeba? What's more, who was the first person on earth reincarnated from, and which power on earth or in heaven facilitates those supposed rebirths?

Reincarnation voids the necessity of Christ for salvation and eternal life. If one can simply 'live again,' then what is the need to believe in Jesus? Therefore, the idea of reincarnation is Satanic.

The Bible makes it clear that Satan has been around since before the Garden of Eden. He knows what occurred in the lives of such people as Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, Hitler, and every other person who has lived since the creation of mankind. It is certainly not a “reach” then to believe that he and / or his demonic spirits can place false memories of others into their thinking.

Sure, the glass we see through darkly can make out two silhouettes and a vase and it may not be clear where memories come from, so proof is more like trying to say whether there is a tree in the forest or not.

You're judged, and then given the sentence of your next birth.

The significance of Christ too is two silhouettes an a vase.

You need to be ready for either interpretation and have a number of roses that is dividable by both two and three.

The penalty for not coming to Christ is the penalty for not coming to Christ, matters not reincarnation.

For many people, their beliefs are so clear and obvious to them, that they literally cannot comprehend anyone knowing and understanding the claims of that belief and not accaept it as true. To them, it’s just not possible, therefore anyone who doesn’t accept the belief is lying, or ignorant, or deceived. They simply do not accept honest, educated, disagreement as possible.

Note that this does not apply only to Christians, and does not apply to even most Christians..it was a fundamental part of Soviet Communism as well, and can be found in those of many beliefs.

I don't think people who deny Christ are ignorant, just misinformed and not up to speed on the historical evidence.

Go to the front of the class. That was spot on. You perfectly described most of my coworkers when I worked in Egypt.

If you're not saved in Christ you should study up on the historical Jesus.

What sources should I study that are actually reliable accounts of the existence and actions of the supposed "historical Jesus?"

That's about right. Narrow is the path that leads to salvation.

So much for the "loving God" thing, huh. Your God sounds like a monster, why would anyone worship that?

I don't think people who deny Christ are ignorant, just misinformed and not up to speed on the historical evidence.

That’s what ignorant means. “lacking knowledge or information as to a particular subject or fact:

But for my main point: Do you believe that it is possible to have read the Bible, undestand the history of the times, and still not accept the claims you believe are true?

What sources should I study that are actually reliable accounts of the existence and actions of the supposed "historical Jesus?"

The Gospels in the Bible are the only source of information on the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Other information about him and some of his thoughts to some people are talked about in the I am litterateurs and other ascended Masters.

The Hare Krishna has extensive descriptions of the Godhead to complete the planetary picture and if you get overwhelmed with all these people being God, there is Islam to tell me, "There is no God but Allah and Mohamed is his Prophet."

The Gospels in the Bible are the only source of information on the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Correction, the Gospels in the Bible are stories that contain claims about the life of this supposed person. There's no reason to believe that any of it is actually true or even "information" in any useful sense.

The problem with the question in the OP is that it is directed at those who believe that human beings still exist in some form after death. And a also that there is some invisible score keeper that decides who gets rewarded and who gets punished based on their choice of beliefs. Since this is all made up there is no answer to the question except what made up things believers take literally. Whatever we believe or not, it all ends the same. We cease to exist physically. I have yet to meet any non physical people, so I have no one to ask what happens after death.

Why not?

Certainly a powerful sorcerer could walk on water, change it to wine, die to get the world's attention and even rise from the dead and ascend into Heaven.

What other reason do you have for the propagation of Christianity? A hoax?

Dubious if you have spent time in religion and seen miracles and understand some of the processes producing them.

The conclusion we come to upon accepting Christ is the Biblical proportion of the work going on on this planet.

The opportunity to get out of this material existence after so many aeons of time.

Rarely is there available what is here on this planet, perhaps never before.

The problem is we like it here and don't want to go back where we didn't like it the first time and it takes effort.
