Sufficient Evidence

Is this a true statement:

If your answer is yes, then how or why would you ever expect or suggest that what's "sufficient" for you, should be equally "sufficient" for somebody else?

If your answer is no, please explain.

Sufficient evidence, IMO, would be if observation and mathematical models jibe. Gravity: do the math using h, g and t. Drop a rock. If the result on the stopwatch comes to within a reasonable error for t, as per what you calculated from h and g, voila! We got us some sufficient evidence.

If not, start looking at force of air resistance.

I don't think there is sufficient evidence for God. But again, sufficient evidence is an objective fact that is up for debate.

How on Earth can "sufficient evidence" for belief in god be anything BUT subjective?

What's sufficient for you and what's sufficient for me, and what's sufficient for Elvira are all very dependent on the individual.

Also, since you and I currently don't believe, how would you know exactly what "sufficient" might even be at this point?

Isn't it subjective in that you have no idea what it might take until it actually happens?

Once (or if) you become a believer, perhaps then you can objectively quantify it, but until then isn't it purely subjective?
