For those of you who cant grasp the meaning behind the title.. Witnesses have been accused of being a "dangerous cult." but Jehovahs witnesses did not drop atom bombs, create weapons, pledge alligiance to a dictator, support war, they did not mob or use violence against those who dont believe what they believe. Jehovahs witnesses live and work in the world. They pay taxes. They as a whole are peacable while others seek to kill or persucute them.. early Christianity was falsely accused.. Tacitus stated that "to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians [or Chrestians[16]] by the populace" because of this false accusations many Christians were beaten and killed.. This has happened with Jehovahs witnesses.

When my grandmother was alive her best neighbors were Jehovah's Witnesses who lived across the hall. They had her key for emergencies and my Grandmother had theirs. My experience is likewise. We had picnics together as families is one main example.
So what they go door to door on Saturday,so does the mail carrier.

id say they are both but they only pose any threat to members and ex members with their practises of shuning and restrictions on blood transfusions

The mail carrier does not knock on the door and preach to you. Mail is expected and welcomed, for the most part.

People are good or bad regardless of religious affiliation. The JWO leadership is another matter altogether. They require their followers to preach. It is a club rule and is not voluntary. And they don't care if it annoys people.

Why is Elvira allowed to try and sell JW's BS by starting thread after thread. I didn't think we were allowed to do that. She is not here for fun social, heated debate. She is seriously trying to convert people.

You should know the answer to that since you have stalked me since day one, along with a few other "loving Christians" who post here...I finally decided to end it once and for all with direct answers by way of threads/videos explaining my stance on several subjects y'all have hounded me about over and over again...end of discussion...if you had kept your big, fat mouths, shut...

Yeah you guys pretty much just sit on the sidelines and let everyone else fight, die and sacrifice for our great country, and after the dust settles, you slime your way in and start you BS all over again.

As conscientious objectors, you hide behind your religious shield, then mock those who died to give you the freedoms you **** on. Not only as a Christian, but as a former Marine, I despise you guys. I told JW's right to their face they are nothing but leeches.

Hebrews 4:13 it is, not 10:26 as said it MIGHT be. The words were exact (they always are), but if I am unsure of the reference, I state I am not sure. Just like I did in the post in question.

Let's be clear I am not saying this, this is what the Bible says. It pertains to you, me, Elvira, and every swinging dick on this Earth, save for the young children who have not reached the age of understanding.

The Bible clearly states and it's in black and white for all to see and understand, that in order to be saved, one must acknowledge they are a sinner, in need of a savior. and that savior is Jesus Christ.

They must come to God with a broken and contrite heart, acknowledging they are a sinner, and they need to ask God for forgiveness of their sins.

They need to ask Jesus to come into their life and be Lord of their life.

With sincerity, and remember God knows every hair on our heads so he knows if we are BS-ing Him or not, they need to dedicate their lives to God and to Jesus from that point on, and from there they walk with God for the rest of their life growing in him daily through prayer and study of his word.

You don't have to do it every day but you need to begin a new life in Christ and you and him can figure it out along the way together.

The Jehovah Witness, they don't believe in that. They believe that the way of Salvation is not through Christ, but through going door-to-door and witnessing on behalf of Jehovah.

They believe you got to be baptized in the Jehovah Witness church in addition, otherwise you're not going anywhere. God ask rhetorically (paraphrasing), well, if that can get you to Heaven, why in the hell did I have to sacrifice my Son!!

As far as the description of hell, to me Hell is just being separated from God for all of eternity.

oh well if hell can be a nice place to live i guess that's not so bad but your god is a huge jackass if it shuns people forever for not believing the right stuff based on faith especially if it could just reveal itself to every one

if god all powerful why the hell would it need to sacrifice itself in a meat suite to live with its creations?

No one mocks soldiers, blarg...another one of his many lies...my Dad was in the army, fought in Korea...my son was in the army, fought in Iraq...we have a lot of Veterans who are now JW's, who have since learned that fighting against your brother is wrong in God's eyes...if we're mocking, we're mocking ourselves, too...peace is the answer, not war...
