A similar situation developed when India was partitioned into India and Pakistan by the British in 1947. A population exchange was necessary because Muslims were violently attacked by Hindus and they were impossible to live peacefully together. I think the waves of decolonization belatedly reached South Africa and white South Africans should be relocated to Australia as refugees. The Netherlands may be the first choice but Australia is the best alternative, where white South Africans could be culturally assimilated.

Absolutely the white farmers should be welcomed in Australia & they eventually will be. I wish a few could come to the
USA instead!

This is just not true,I'm from Perth and they have assimilated very well indeed...BUT I don't think Farmers should be treated any differently to any other Migrant....anyway the Aus-Government decided today that NO they will NOT make an exception to our Immigration System for SA Farmers or anyone else.......Most Immigrants are coming from despicable situations,not just the South Africans

I am not sure targeted is the word, South Africa is simply a very violent place. You are still more likely to be murdered in South Africa as a black person t.han as a White person.

That said although i accept the argument that White South Africans are facing a far smaller threat t.han others in the world, this would still beg the question of why Australia would want to turn them down. They are skilled workers who speak English, so considering the not insignificant risk they face as people combined with the potential benefit for Australia it seems like a no-brainer.

Scummo just announced that immigration is out of control and we must cut our immigration intake. That means no more WHITE au pair girls and therefore no WHITE South African farmers.

These farmers enjoyed life under apartheid and will bring their pro-apartheid values to Australia. We have enough far right racist white supremacists here already. We don't want anymore.

I didn't catch the name of the Melbourne terrorist from a few weeks ago, the one who killed a 74 year old man on his way home from work. Must have been an Afrikaner though.
 
One might wonder what a terrorist attack in Melbourne has to do with the OP and the added poll, but seeing that the issue is raised by the very thread starter who is also known for constantly derailing his own threads (once they don't go in the originally intended direction), not anymore.

So I propose a "Yes" to the question of whether Australia should grant asylum to White South Africans. On the sole condition that they be sufficiently racist White Supremacist to the point of feeding the OP's needs.

In the context of which I also decry the fact that recently one of those was most unjustly refused asylum on DP, by that process robbing the OP of clearly (and desperately) needed support in pursuit of White Supremacism agenda.

And where the poll does not ask, get all the non-Whites out of the country and thus off the continent muy pronto. Including, of course, Aboriginals.

Not so sure about Jews either.

Because importing tens of millions of people merely because of Hellish conditions is not, of itself, a sufficient rationale. Asylum law is usually based on persecution of a person or group because of their race, religion, or ethic status. Whites in South Africa, and even more so in Zimbabwe, are threatened and/or suffer from wide-spread land seizures, employment restrictions, etc.

Moreover, it is the right of the Australian people to maintain their shared culture, traditions, and social capital and not in the best interests to grant asylum to more than a few million over a period of years, which would be enough to save the most persecuted whites of these countries.

Finally, favoring amnesty to the whites of these countries is less harmful to the well-being of Australians than doing so for Black Africans. The whites are more skilled, have significantly higher IQs, are more culturally similar and thus able to integrate, less likely to require intergenerational public support, and are less likely to become "special needs" grievance groups demanding special privileges.

And, as an aside, I think it a good thing to see at least a few refuges of the European races preserved - if only for historic value.
 
Of course!


That's a no-brainer.


Australia, Russia, and -- of course -- the United States of America should offer asylum to those refugees.


No doubt there are many other countries that are vying for those refugees.
