It's called soft politics where the Chinese pay for Politicians travel and wine etc for them to say nice things about them, and it is running rampant in Australian politics, but how is it going in the US, are they allowed to buy power plants or telcos and other important infrastructure

It is, in fact, and I am a very strong advocate of free international investment flow, questionable to allow a strategic enemy to invest. This is especially true, where investment in thier country is not fully permitted.

You have to be very very stupid or very very naiave to commit an act which would have been considered treason in earlier times
