North Korea's Kim getting treatment after cardiovascular procedure: report - Reuters

SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is receiving treatment after undergoing a cardiovascular procedure early this month, a South Korean media report said, amid speculation over Kim’s health following his absence from a key anniversary event.

North Korea marked the anniversary of the birthday of its founding father and Kim’s grandfather, Kim Il Sung, as a national holiday on April 15, but Kim was not seen in attendance.

Daily NK, a speciality website run mostly by North Korean defectors, cited unidentified sources inside the isolated state saying Kim is recovering at a villa in the Mount Kumgang resort county of Hyangsan on the east coast after getting the procedure on April 12 at a hospital there.

Well, he does seems to have a cholesterol count of 5000 or worse.

I wouldn't doubt that the fat bastard has been infected with coronavirus. Nobody knows what goes on in N. Korea and nobody will know except maybe for the Chinese. Remember, N. Korea and China share a common border and are trading partners. There absolutely has to be covid-19 in N. Korea. How bad, nobody knows. If this much news has been released to the public, that probably means it's much more serious than anyone is letting out to the outside. I wouldn't even be shocked to find out eventually that he passed away and they're hiding it. If that happens, good.
 


Kim Yo Jong is now running the communist state. Kim Yo Jong was recently promoted to the position of alternate member of the Politburo, one of Pyongyang’s most powerful decision-making bodies. She looks more capable than her little brother with heart problems. North Korea will have a better future, if there is a transition of power with his demise. We used to talk about the Soviet Union in this manner.
