so Again I always like to plug some great YouTubers when I can and here is a bit from CaspianReport that came out today that covers a subject I’ve been talking about for years although he dives into more detail with some great statistics and one piece I didn’t really cover which was that China’s massive aging population also is happening at an earlier time in their economic development as opposed to Western Nations that has more time before it happened.

This was a post of mine in 2015

I strongly believes Chinas "Rise" is way overestimated.

Their demographics are perilous and could lead to extreme instability.

As I continually reiterate Chinas one child policy has put them in the place of demographic nightmares that even Japan can't imagine.

By ignoring the cultural implications of a preference for boys and the severe problem of Gender specific abortion there is

A) An extreme imbalance of men and women.

B) A rapidly aging population at simply an unbelievably staggering number.

These factors are going to cause China some very, very severe problems that could cause major political instability and nobody is talking about this... but it is a major, major problem.

America may have problems and all Western countries have an aging population issue to a certain extent but Chinas is way more severe and Western countries have the benefit of being able to offset this issue with an already higher birth rate and immigration, China does not have that luxury.

Now whether or not it will end up curbing their superpower ambitions remain to be seen, I do concede that.

Enjoy the video and let’s discuss.

People dying earlier with no expectation or sense of entitlement to someone else doling out a million dollars to keep them alive a few extra years may not be the worst thing in the world.

And of course the environmentalist left wants us to go down the same road.

George Friedman is a mssive as%hole , still China has 0 chance against democracy, which is way more effective

my recommendation for you

Malthus is not being kind to China and the Chinese.

It only gets worse. It is the reversal of China's history of population and population growth.

The United States can afford it to extend life, China cannot.

China has two looming crisis they like to ignore, their massive debt bomb and their demographics crisis. I honestly could see China forcibly euthanizing anyone over say age 70 to try and combat having to take care of an elderly population without the younger working class necessary to do so.
