Trump cancels new North Korea sanctions - BBC News

US President Donald Trump says he has ordered the withdrawal of recently imposed sanctions against North Korea.

In a tweet on Friday, Mr Trump referred to "additional large-scale sanctions" by the US Treasury that had been added to already existing restrictions.
================================
It was not clear which sanctions he was referring to.

.... because he "likes" the murderous dictator ....

So Trump likes Kim and praises him.. And he likes Putin and praises him. But he doesn't like McCain and attacks and insults him every chance he gets.

And the Republican gutless wonders in Congress AND the Republican base sit back and say nothing.

I think Clinton's 'deplorable' comment was too weak. I can think of other names to call Trump who praises murderous dictators and insults American war heroes and his cowardly base who defend him.

Stupid move

The Trump administration is holding "China talks" this weekend.

China's economy is on a downward path.

China controls North Korea.

The sanctions Trump took off the table refer to shipping companies operating between China and North Korea.

If the "China talks" this weekend don't go the way the Trump administration hopes for, you can be assured these particular sanctions will be reinstated.

The best outcome: China turns in NK's nuclear plants for denuclearization, sanctions affecting business between China and NK will be lifted.

Thanks for the explanation.

Best president ever.

So I hear.

From some otherwise very good people.

Topsy-turvy world.

Is he any different than the myriad USA installed murderous dictators? Well yes, yes he is. The leader of the north of Korea knows full well the murderous nature of the USA and the USA installed murderous dictators. He, like everyone else in the world has seen them in Korea, Chile, Vietnam, Indonesia, East Timor, Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, Colombia, Cambodia, Iran, Iraq, the Philippines, ... .

I don't think Trump hates McCain because he was/will always be a war criminal but that is certainly a good enough reason to hate someone. You likely hate Hitler, don't you?

US President Donald Trump has not ordered the withdrawal of recently imposed sanctions against North Korea, administration officials say.

Mr Trump caused confusion on Friday when he tweeted that "additional large-scale sanctions" would be withdrawn.

It was thought he was referring to the treasury's move to blacklist two China-based shipping companies suspected of illegally trading with North Korea.

But officials later said he was referring to future sanctions.

Trump North Korea sanctions tweet sparks confusion - BBC News

The news story circulated in the media was wrong. Trump was only referring to future sanctions we don't know of, when he tweeted that "additional large-scale sanctions" would be withdrawn. The current tough sanctions against the murderous regime will be in place.
