So I've really been thinking about this and, to be honest, I'm not joking at all, though it's comical in a sad kind of way. We keep talking about who gets to claim any responsibility for improvements in the disposition of North Korea. Obviously the South Korean President deserves credit and Trump also deserves credit, though probably not for the reasons that most people would think (hint: it's not really positive).

Who's the secret variable that's been left out of this situation? Dennis Rodman. Rodman has been going to NK and meeting with KJU for years and has, most likely, been his only human interaction with a person from the west he has had. How much of an effect has that had? I mean...seriously, there may be more to this than what is acknowledged. How much credit should Rodman get to take? I think more than many would realize.

What Does North Korea Want? Dennis Rodman Says He Has Secret Message From Kim Jong Un for Donald Trump

Former basketball star and current diplomatic hopeful Dennis Rodman called Monday for a meeting with President Donald Trump over the escalating crisis between the U.S. and North Korea. The retired athlete, who has visited the reclusive, authoritarian state several times in recent years, said he could communicate to Trump what North Korean supreme leader Kim Jong Un wants, hopefully easing tensions between the two nuclear-armed rivals.

WOW, you are the first one I have heard with this interesting idea.

We dont know what that relationship is exactly, I have never read one account that makes sense, no one seems to understand.

We also dont know how many messages he has passed ala Lisa Howard.

This makes judging hard.

I'm not even sure how what I think about this idea myself. It's just something that has been kinda kicking around the back of my brain in some kind of weird fiction story line kind of way but there may be more to it than what we know. I think it's more than nothing.

So Dennis Rodman was Obama’s pointman, and therefor what ever good things come out of the NoKo talks Obama’s gets to take credit for. And of course if it all goes to hell, it’s Trumps fault.

If Trump gets a Nobel Peace prize, I hope he gives it to Obama saying “Here, he can have it. He collects the damn things!”

Err...no. The Obama's State Department always told him not to go.

Who really knows the true answers. It is apparently true that the U.S. can't stop a citizen from going if he wants. If Rodman is the hero, then give him the Nobel Prize. It's pretty devalued. I really don't care, but "ending" NoKo also slows Iran and cuts down the possibilities of rogue nuclear weapons popping up in NY harbor.
