North Korea Is Not De-Nuclearizing

Situation between North Korea and those two Middle Eastern nation is and was completly different. Which major nation were those two nations supported by? Which major nation was supporting and was guaranteeing the independence of North Korea back then? China. US declration of war against the N Koreans would have brought the Chinese into the war, meaning it could have led into some sort of a world conflict.

I havent bought into it. Not sure why others have.

I just think that NK liked 'being part of the rest of the world' during the Olympics and is trying to leverage that.

NK (KJ Un) felt like he got some respect for a brief time and liked how it felt....looking to work that angle IMO,, extend it, see what more he can get out of it.

North Korea is a small country and radiation leaks from the test site could pollute the entire country.

It didn't start a WW 3 because back in the Korean War because-
1. China did not have nuclear weapons
2. China was still under civilwar supported by the Soviet Union
3. China was not an independent nation that could match the power of both US and the USSR during 1950.

1950-1953 scenario is completely different to the possible scenario that could have played out a few decades later.
Now talking about your question, 'according to whom', back in the Cold War, it was the Soviet Union's proposal to sign the seize fire in order to stop the conflict in Korea. Think about it, US declaring war again to a Soviet proposed seize fire. China, who clearly showed their point that they do not wish to border the South Koreans would have sided with the North Koreans while the Soviet Union would have taken US's declaration as breaking the 'treaty'.

And Nuclear Weapons are a prerequisite to a World War? So who had nukes during WWI and WWII?

And a 1940s CEASE fire agreement with the USSR (no longer there) has what to do with today and now?

1st off, when did I say the 1940s Cease Fire?
2nd off, I have clearly explained why an mass war could begun if the 1953s Soviet cease fire agreement would have been broken because the Soviet Union DID NOT wish to have a conflict in Korea at the first place. And guess what? Soviet Union did have nukes during the 50s meaning another US invasion of their allie could have caused either an mass human
3rd, the US had nukes during WW2.
