[h=1]North Korea on Verge of Catastrophe at Nuclear Test Site, China Warns[/h]
Chinese geologists have warned North Korea that the consequences could be catastrophic if it conducts another test at the mountainous Punggye-ri nuclear facility, the South China Morning Post reports.
North Korea conducted its sixth nuclear test at the facility, situated roughly 50 miles from China's border, in early September. After the test, a senior Chinese nuclear scientist warned that another test could blow off the top of the mountain and lead to a massive collapse, which could allow radioactive waste to be blown across the border into China. This warning came as a North Korean delegation met with the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Geology in Beijing on September 20.

Hmm... a catastrophe, 50 miles from China's border.

Will china finally do something about its little yapping lapdog? Will it finally put a leash on Little Kim and make him quit barking at the rest of the world? Maybe. We'll see.

Or China is trying to give NK an excuse or way out of escalating without losing any face. They wouldn’t be stopping nuclear testing because of the US, they would be stopping nuclear testing because of structural integrity of the mountain.

At this point I'd be very happy if NK would keep on not testing and Trump wouldn't tweet about it. I'm for gagging all parties.

That's quite possible.
Of course, Trump can still take credit if Kim stops setting off bombs.

Since this is the only nuclear test site in North Korea, there would be no more nuclear tests in the near future. I don't think North Korea will risk an environmental disaster by detonating another hydrogen bomb at the site. The regime's official broadcaster declared that the country's nuclear program is near completion and it's time now to gloat over the great success.
