US State Department Blueprint to Oust Duterte Leaked by A US Embassy Insider

Any point would be that you prattle grade 7 civics to adults in our setting and context.

Your paradigm is off considerably.

Nay, completely.

As you wish. It seems you missed 7th grade.

Duterte Harry is a bit buzzed out about the reported but unconfirmed U.S. DepState design to chuck him from office.

Although the U.S. Embassy in Manila denied it on December 29, two days after the story broke in the Manila Times, Duterte wants both Potus Obama and Potus-Elect Trump to specifically deny it. While the embassy has denied it, both the White House and Trump Tower have remained silent.

PH stirs talk of U.S. plot vs Duterte ahead of Trump inauguration

MANILA, Philippines (Updated) – President Rodrigo Duterte and his allies revived talks of a supposed US plot against him, accusing its envoys of being "spies" and demanding a statement from US President-elect Donald Trump ahead of his inauguration on January 20.

The US embassy in Manila denied the allegation anew, but Duterte himself is not convinced. “In the sense that I may be looking at it as a possibility, yes," Duterte said in an interview on Thursday, December 29.

"Outgoing US President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump should come with their hands clean and both make a categorical denial of any US government plot to unseat President Rodrigo Duterte," [Philippine Congressman] Castelo said in a statement on Thursday, December 29. “While we respect the denial made by the US embassy in Manila as reported in the media, this matter involves decision at the highest level of the US government — and if such recommendation from former US Ambassador to the Philippines Philip Goldberg does exist, the Philippines is entitled to know what the US President did or is going to do about it,” Castelo added.

Duterte, in his speeches, has repeatedly dared the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to oust him.

Ambassador Goldberg has himself denied such a scheme or anything like it, however, Duterte points to Goldberg's expulsion from Bolivia in 2008 after Pres. Morales accused the GW Bush appointed ambassador Goldberg of involvement to coordinate anti-government protests. Goldberg finished his term as ambassador to the Phils with a daily criticism of Duterte, prompting Dirty Duterte to say the ambassador, who is openly gay, is a "son of a b!tch."

Goldberg spent his final months in Manila dismissing as "absurd" claims that the US would plot against Duterte. The veteran diplomat Goldberg was reacting to an allegation from former President Joseph Estrada, who blamed the US for his ouster in 2001, that Washington also wants Duterte out of office.

Dirty Duterte has also made claims about a plot by Filipino-Americans in the US, a scenario that was dismissed by government security officials because of their lack of capability. Which could make it seem all the more that Duterte might be steadily getting closer to becoming a private citizen again.

The Phils elites in Manila and heavily populated Luzon island with the military will decide Duterte's fate. Duterte will call on his allies in his home province of Mindanao in the rebellious deep south, to include the Marxist New People's Army which as three ministers in Duterte's cabinet.

Duterte's opposition will call on its allies and supporters. Duterte was elected in June with 38% of the vote (no runoff in the Phils).

The woman who could take down Rodrigo Duterte: his soft-spoken, even-tempered vice president

In the Philippines, the president and vice president are often from rival parties, as has been the case in four of the last five administrations. Robredo ran for vice president as the running mate of presidential contender Mar Roxas. Roxas lost, but Robredo won the vice presidency, narrowly beating Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the son of the late Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos and Duterte’s preferred choice. She also became the housing secretary, and thus part of Duterte’s cabinet.

The latter arrangement came to an end this week. After Duterte barred her from his cabinet meetings—making it impossible for Robredo to do her job, she argued—Robredo resigned as housing secretary.

Duterte needs also to stop trying to find scapegoats abroad for the minority and regional only support he gets in the country he rules over.

Imagine a world where our government didn't do things to other governments that we bitch about other governments doing to us.

Imagine a world in which all countries were equal and just and lived by the golden rule. A world in which democracy, equality, fraternity were the rule.

It's Dirty Duterte who on a state visit to Beijing in September proclaimed in a notorious moment of crackpot hysteria, "It's the Philippines, China, Russia against the world."

It's the US govt (Obama admin) trying to boost the campaign against Netanyahu by donating money to his opposition. Our govt tried to sway their elections. We stick our noses in places where it doesn't belong.

Nothing personal but you'd have to document the issue you've presented citing credible sources. To include why any such 'donation' if it had been made might be illegal, immoral or fattening.

Putin's been propping up Assad, selling arms to Iran and cozying up to Beijing's newest BFF Duterte Harry while he undermines Nato member Turkey and funds rightwing political parties in member states of the EU that are also members of Nato. And that's while he's asleep. Daytime Putin gets even worse.

People who criticize the United States only and exclusively make it really easy to separate the good guyz from the bad guyz so youse do yourselves and your hero dictators no favors. Youse guyz should make it more complicated for us to pin the tail on the donkey cause right now we can't miss.

The mass of the Philippine people in their well known people power will deal with Duterte Harry in their good time. Meanwhile if I can help by serving them refreshments and making some signs out of my own pocket I'll be more than glad to lend a hand.

Not a chance cause all of the boys were in love with Miss Moriarty our social studies teacher. It wuz only because of her our class won the outstanding attendance award. But you had no way to know that so never mind.

And your view of Dirty Duterte is..............

...and remains yet unstated.

Inquiring minds want to know. We're interested in the thread topic most directly.

What in the **** has that got to do with w..... Nevermind. You will just come up with more non applicable gibberish.

I don't really care about him. I doubt he'll be there long.

Interesting because in your several posts to the thread this is the first reference you've made to Duterte himself. Other posts have addressed posters and something a poster said rather than the thread topic which is Duterte. And your one (somewhat) responsive post is a reply to my specific question asking what you thought about Dirty Duterte. So given your dismissive attitude toward Duterte and the thread one wonders why you have posted here at all. You are of course free do do as you please.

Just sayin.

I responded to your error of fact.

Sez you.

The post was presumptuous on your part, overbearing and wrong as I'd pointed out subsequently.

Willful.

I am discussing Duterte Harry and the alleged 'blueprint'. As we see, Dirty Duterte isn't the only one who does not play well with others. He's an old guy at 72 (young old) but it looks like it may finally cost him. Some people never learn so they may have to be put into a corner apart from the rest of us.

So Duterte is one who if he's not paranoid it's only because he's not paying attention. Others are just paranoid, haughty and wrong. Not subject to criticism.

I don't care about Duterte. Your error risked polluting the discussion. I performed a public service.

Duterte keeps creating trouble for himself. Dirty Duterte lives in an endless loop of controversy and chaos and he does it in ways no other Philippine president has done (to include the wildman Joseph Estrada who was deposed by Philippine People Power in 2001).

For a president who was elected on only 38% of the popular vote, most of it from his home province of Mindanao in the deep south, Duterte assumes and presumes a hellovalot...

Duterte to declare martial law if situation in PH turns ‘virulent’
By: Nestor Corrales
January 14, 2017

President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday night said no one could stop him from declaring martial law if the situation in the Philippines becomes “virulent.”

"I will declare martial law if I want to. If I wanted to…no one can stop me,” Duterte said in Davao City where he had been mayor 21 years. “If I have to declare martial law, I will declare it, period,” he said.

Under the Constitution, the President would need to submit a report to Congress within 48 hours after his declaration of martial law. Congress can vote to revoke the declaration.

Also enshrined in the Constitution was the right of the any citizen to question the declaration of martial law before the Supreme Court. But the President said he was ready not to heed the high court if the situation calls for it. "I don’t care about the Supreme Court because of the right to preserve one’s life and my nation. My country transcends everything else, even the limitation,” he said

Duterte earlier said he wanted the declaration of martial law to be the prerogative of the chief executive without the approval of Congress and the Supreme Court.

Dirty Duterte has been trying to pay off the Phils military with bonuses and special financial packages to the various generals and certain entire elite units of the Army. This will not help Duterte however as the generals and soldiers are more than contented to accept the windfalls of money en route to carrying out their duties to the constitution.

As mayor of Davao City in the violent southernmost province of Mindanao, Duterte has supported every insurrectionist and rebellious group that has come along, from the armed Muslim insurgency to the Marxist New People's Army. The Muslim Duterte has in fact appointed to his cabinet three leaders of the NPA.

Secretary of Defense Delfin Lorenzano has been low key in his central position as the leading pro-USA figure in the Phils and in Duterte's government. Duterte had to appoint the Army Major-General as SecDef due to the demands of the Phils armed forces commanders. Dirty Duterte had tried to appoint Lorenzano ambassador to the U.S. to try to keep him out of the Phils. Lorenzano had spent the past 14 years at the Phils embassy in Washington in the unique position of the personal representative of the Phils president to the Potus.

Whereas many figured it would take up to 18 months to check Duterte, perhaps the countdown in the Phils has rather now begun. One might think the last thing Duterte should want to do is to clear the streets for army trucks and tanks to move freely about. After all, Duterte's base is in the far south. The elites and the majority of the population of Manila and heavily populated Luzon island support the vice president, the strongly pro-U.S. Lini Robredo. Mrs. Robredo defeated the son of former dictator Marcos who had had the support of Duterte.
