This is the first statement allowed by the CCP Dictators in Beijing concerning a Potus Donald Trump in the South China Sea and in the India-South China Sea-Western Pacific Strategic Region.
While in Beijing the term 'regional hegemony' is bad news, in Washington the term means containing the aggressive and belligerent CCP Dictators in their millions of miles total of claimed territory on land and sea throughout East Asia, to include the South China Sea and the Sea of Japan (East Sea).
Trump to pursue 'regional hegemony' in South China Sea
NOVEMBER 28, 2016
Wu Shicun, president of the National Institute for South China Sea Studies think tank (NISCSS), has issued a landmark report on the United States’ military presence in the Asia-Pacific.
“There will not be a reversal in the Asia-Pacific policy, but the strategic rivalry between China and the US is likely to continue over the South China Sea,” he told reporters in Beijing.
Since the election, President-Elect Donald Trump's transition team has said it is looking to increase America’s military force against China.
Last week, Rudy Giuliani revealed the president-elect intends to prioritise building a “gigantic” military force to overthrow China’s ambitions in the region, which would allow them to fight a “two-ocean war”.
He said the US had made China a rich country through “bad trade deals”, adding that “they are totally disregarding our country”.
Zhu Feng, director of the South China Sea Centre at Nanjing University, told reporters in Beijing there would be “more continuity” of the existing US military policy under Mr Trump.

The "academics" at the Nanjing University Center of the South China Sea are stepping up the talk already being chirped by the CCP Dictators in Beijing of unilaterally declaring a Air Defense Identification Zone over the SCS. Washington has said in unmistakable terms not to do it. Washington would defy it by flying through it without the required permissions of transit declared by CCP Dictators.
One would think CCP Dictators in Beijing had already learned their lesson concerning an ADIZ. In December 2013 in disputes against Japanese islands, CCP suddenly and unilaterally declared an ADIZ over the islands and the East Sea, between Taiwan and Japan, to include some southern waters of South Korea.
Two days after CCP surprise declared the new ADIZ Washington sent two B-52 unarmed nuclear capable bombers to fly through it, ignoring CCP orders to identify, then to get out. Since then, the ADIZ has become aerial swiss cheese as US with Japan and South Korea have regularly flown air force and navy air combat planes through the zone at will.
I think Potus Donald Trump would not take well either to any such actions by the CCP Dictators in Beijing over the South China Sea.
