I just finished the first season. What a great show. I don't hear too many people talking about it. It centers around a bookstore owner (Joe) who seems to be the quintessential nice, charming guy. He meets a girl named Guinevere Beck (who everyone calls Beck) and immediately becomes obsessed with her. He starts stalking her until she's finally taken by his charming smile and sweet, romantic side. Unbeknownst to Beck, Joe is much, much more than that.

I like throughout the episodes we hear what's going on in Joe's mind in his own voice. It's weird because you know he's an awful person, but he's just so damn charming and has moments of genuine kindness and goodness that you are almost rooting for him. It's one of those shows where the end of one episode makes you immediately want to watch the next one because you just have to know what happens next.

I highly recommend.
