What are you watching? Anything to recommend?

So far in the past couple weeks I've binge watched the latest seasons of "For All Mankind", "The Morning Show", "The Amazing Mrs. Maisel", "Jack Ryan", "Lost in Space" and "The Man in the High Castle". All were great. I tried to get into "Absentia" but didn't.

Currently catching up on the last 2 seasons of "Silicon Valley". A funny quote from S5/E2 was when Jared was trying to convince Richard that ideas are not enough to inspire people to work with them, that they needed leadership and that if Richard was a good leader, they'd follow him then Jared said this:

"Jared: People don't wanna follow an idea, they wanna follow a leader. Look at the last guy to create a new Internet. Al Gore. His ideas were excellent, but he talked like a narcoleptic plantation owner, so he lost the presidency to a fake cowboy and now he makes apocalypse porn."

Great line and true!

Anyone have additional recommendations?

"See"

Far in a dystopian future, the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, build, hunt, and to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins is born with sight.

I stream the vast majority of my tv watching. Silicon Valley was great. Hate to see it end.
Man in the High Castle- stopped watching after a couple seasons.
Mrs. Maisel was good and bad this season. Didn't like watching the Mrs. treat her kids like house plants.
Jack Ryan was watchable. First season was better.

Recommend You, Dead To Me, Bloodline and so much more if you have any specific desired. I watch a ton of British tv, too.

Haven't watched Peaky Blinders.
Have enjoyed the seasons of Sneaky Pete.

My wife loves "Call the Midwife". Is that the same one? Peaky Blinders is also on my watchlist, but I haven't seen it yet. Great season with Mrs. Maisel.

I'll mention that to my wife.

Sneaky Pete is great, but I haven't seen the second season. I also binged watched Dexter. I'd previously seen every season except the last one so it was treat.

The Conners found its soul. It went back to the original formula: Outrageously dysfunctional family somehow functions and learns life lessons along the way. Good actors, the script is going somewhere and one cannot predict what will happen next.

Best ratings on ABC.

The Witcher on Netflix.

Suits is on Amazon Prime I think, that's pretty fun, kinda like a soap opera in a fancy law office.

Damages, also on Amazon Prime, that first season was some of the best TV I've ever seen.

Weeds is really entertaining.
