The Cars were a great band before Phoebe Cates but after...they became immortal.

Always elegant. How many in the world of pop music could wear a cravat without being pretentious? He'd dine at the Quilted Giraffe or the Odeon, comfortable up and downtown.

Edie Money also passed this week at 70. Both are immortal.

Ouch. RIP. The Cars were big in the early 80's, and everyone hummed their songs in school.

One of the few new wave bands that were still true to rock.

It's like all of 70's and 80's rock is dying.

We’re planning to do Two Tickets to Paradise at a gig in NJ Thursday in remembrance of Eddie. Unfortunately I haven’t played a Cars tune years.

One of my wife’s favorite stories from her teen years is borrowing her cousin’s wheelchair - the cousin had injured her foot and couldnt walk for a couple of weeks - and using it to do wheelies to “Moving in Stereo”.

As a gay man I can only say the idea of Trump naked is enough to make me vomit. With that albino ferret on his head, that orange skin, fat arse, and how shall we say, stubby mushroom fingers, he could not write me a check with enough zeros to get me in the bed chamber. I cant blame Marla for getting with the hot young chauffeur.
