So Rockstar Added A Literal ****ing Casino to GTA 5

People still play GTA V? Thats news to me.

Yeah, it's still very popular. **** GTA Online, though. It sucks. I stick with single-player for the most part, anyways.

Article here. So it look likes Rockstar/Take-Two are throwing themselves and almost the entire AAA gaming industry under the bus. While all the other big publishers are trying to say their money making scams are not gambling, they are surprise mechanics, Rockstar goes and puts in a literal casino. And because you can buy money in GTA 5 with real money it is real money gambling in a digital casino. There is no possible way for Rockstar to hide their exploitation of gambling addicts while EA is trying to hide it saying oh it is surprise fun mechanics, Rockstar has double downed and said they openly admit they want to exploit gambling addiction and create more gambling addicts.

Rockstar and Take-Two are basically screaming please ****ing regulate us. The balls.

**** like this is why we need to regulate these companies, they are not even trying to hide how they exploit people anymore.

I understand that this could have sinister intentions, but is this like how Casinos used to be, in earlier GTA games? Like, in GTA: San Andreas for example. There was a few casinos you could go into and gamble in. I never found it a good way to make money, so the only time I actually did it, was when I was screwing around with my save file. Or I'd just shoot the place up.

You can't buy anything with real money in San Andreas. And I am almost certain you do not get exclusive rewards for it besides more in-game currency or small bonuses.

They added an actual casino where you can spend real money to gamble and there are rewards to encourage it.

Well, I won't be using it anyways. I hate GTA: Online with a passion, so Rockstar can count me out.
