Tim Conway has died at the age of 85 after battling dementia. He passed away at 8:45 a.m. in the Los Angeles area on Tuesday, his rep Howard Bragman confirms to PEOPLE.Prior to his death, he suffered complications from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) and had no signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Love to watch Tim on the Carol Burnett Show. It was difficult for his co stars to keep a straight face working with him.
What a terrific comedian.

The article concerning his passing is a little hard to understand. First they say he had been battling dementia and then they said he had NPH and no signs of dementia.
NPH causes swelling of cerebrospinal fluid in the ventricles of the brain and can cause dementia.

He will be missed.

He was a very funny man with nice slapstick touch.

Hollywood deaths are said to come in threes. We had Peggy Lipton of MOD SQUAD, then Doris Day, and now this one with Conway.

The pattern continues.

Carol Burnett is mourning the loss of her beloved co-star Tim Conway.

“I’m heartbroken,” the 86-year-old told Fox News on Tuesday. “He was one in a million, not only as a brilliant comedian but as a loving human being. I cherish the times we had together both on the screen and off. He’ll be in my heart forever.”

Who knew Tim Conway would be a fashion trendsetter?

Thanks for the yuks Tim ... RIP.

In my youth the Carol Burnett Show was must watch TV. Tim Conway was a gifted man and was a major reason folks tuned in.

Yesterday Doris Day and today Tim Conway both great natives from Ohio.

Tim Conway's last years were very sad as he suffered with dementia caused by another disease. May he rest in sweet, sweet peace.
