Disney Reinstates James Gunn for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3

Of course he was rehired. He criticizes President Trump. That excuses all offenses and all crimes.

Gunn made bad taste jokes and apologized and deleted years before he was fired.

I’m not sure which of Trump’s offensive comments you think people are trying to impeach him over, but I don’t recall him ever apologizing or retracting anything.

They are still disgusting to the Nth degree and it blows my mind that people defended him then and still continue to do so now.

No one is defending the jokes. But he had made them, deleted and apologized for them before he was even hired by Disney. It made no sense to fire him over decades old remarks he had long since disavowed.

Now... which comments of Trump’s are people trying to impeach him for? And do you defend Trump’s offensive tweets?

It's not correct to say that any of Trump's enemies believe they can impeach him for making insulting tweets.

It would be correct to say that every time he makes an insulting tweet, some people act as if he'd just sentenced someone to the Gulag.
