Name some songs you can think of that have lyrics which are way better than the instrumental track (melody). According to your personal opinion, what is one song that has awesome lyrics, but mediocre (or awful) instrumental? :unsure13:

That is a tough one. The opposite is a piece of cake :)

Cohen's Halleluah might be one. Great lyrics, a nice, but uninspiring piano riff

That is a hard call but sometimes the lyric writer/composer is not the world's best performer and others later cover the song better.
