With the fluidity of TV shows and revivals popping up seemingly out of nowhere, the Roseanne debacle leaves a lot of options on the table for ABC.

TV fans are begging ABC to revive some of their shows. Some ideas have included:

Designated Survivor
Pushing Daisies
Alex Inc (freshman comedy)
Agent Carter

Various Roseanne Spinoff ideas are being pushed around

Also off Network ABC has options to pick up:
Lucifer
Two and a Half Men
LA to Vegas
Enlisted

It would be easier for ABC to make a spinoff about Roseanne's family, but the problem w/that is that she created the show. So she will still have to be involved. if they want a high profile comedy, Two and a Half Men is the obvious choice, but is Tiger Blood man still relevant?

They have one show I watch

For the People

Other than that, the network has really been in a funk for a LONG time

cant remember the last great series they put out....

I didn't catch that one, but from the sound of it, you might like Billions.

I'm so out of touch I know anything about any of those. I think I've seen Lucifer while scrolling through hulu, that's about it.

Billions is on Showtime

and in season 3

Ah I read that wrong. You meant ABC. There was a moment a couple of years ago, when ABC was my most watch Network, but I think now it's Netflix. Then NBC.

You don't know two and a half men? Most of the others only have cult followings but 2.5 men was mainstream in it's day. And still reruns.

I stopped watching network shows a long time ago. Only cable channels or streaming for me.

ABC could likely pick up "Last Man Standing" it was very popular when CBS cancelled it.

I cannot stand shows with commercial breaks!

Nope since that was an ABC show that Fox just picked up. It's easy to get confused though.

you are right, Sorry, I thought it was CBS who cancelled a popular show making money, because of political views.

If she's really sorry about ruining everyone's job, crashing the hopes of cast members who had not yet made it, the writers, the set people and hundreds of others, she'll agree to whatever they want as far as her rights to the show go. She can have partial ownership or revenue share, if that's what it takes, but she should not stand in the way of "The Connors" or any other attempt to salvage the show.

Yes, I made a mistake, I thought it was CBS.

I figured that out after I got further in the thread and deleted my post hoping you wouldn't have to repeat yourself again. I just wasn't fast enough. :)

She's apparently, "Considering her options," due to her racist fans.

I doubt she has racist fans (have you seen the show?) and I don't believe she's overtly, consciously, intentionally, malevolently racist. Racist crap came out of her mouth, but here's what I figure. She's made a career of giving everyone the middle finger. She gets off on doing it, "kiss my trashy ass". She doesn't give a damn about any of the people she worked with. This was her last shebang, a big double middle finger to her fans, Disney, ABC, her co workers and everyone else. She went out the same she came in and never changed. Good riddance.

Do I think all 20+ Million people who watched the revival are all racists? No. Well I based on the people that she is retweeting who support her.
It's the same revisionist not-really-racist crap that I've seen on this board after Charlottesville.

Her grandkids are a black girl and a cross-dressing boy. There's no way a racist watches the show.

Were Ms. Barr to have (retain?) a principal stake in a spinoff, I would not consider her as having been penalized for her imprudent remark. Were I an ABC exec, I'd insist that the network disabuse itself of any and all interactions with her because to not do so "winks and nods," or as some might say, "dog whistles."

Last I heard, they were working on a buyout. She would continue to get royalties but lose all rights to input.
