Han Solo

It is predictable. And it did feel like a checklist of sorts. But it was an enjoyable experience for me. And yeah, Lando should of been in it more. I kinda wanted more interaction between him and Han. L3-37, I actually liked. I thought she was hilarious, and I really liked that whole-
"droid rebellion" she started on the Pyke Mine, with the gonk droid stomping on the control pad.
Her voice reminds me of this YouTuber that I love watching RPGMinx, so maybe that's why I found her so entertaining.

I give it a 7.5. Maybe my problem is that I'm just way too much of a fan of Star Wars to even really give these movies an unbiased review.

Speaking of Ewan McGregor, there is talks of an Obi-Wan movie in the works. I would love to see him get back into that role again. Because you're right, he was awesome as Obi-Wan.

I still think that the Star Wars expanded universe would make great film material.

Yes, not all of it, but a lot. And elements from the EU concerning the origin of Han Solo, were brought into this film. But eventually I want Star Wars to move away from this era at some point, and tell totally new stories.

The New Republic Era is going to be detailed on in the new Resistance show coming out later this year. And yes, I want to see Thrawn in a movie. I'm glad they brought him back from Legends.

I am just waiting for Guardians of the Galaxy to sneak in....can totally see Groot in cantina scenes.

I enjoyed the movie enough...love me some Wookie action. The had a great droid - perfect accent to Lando.

But I let out a groan at the end. That is all I am going to say.

And if anybody here is my age, Donald Glover was playing Billie Dee Williams more than Lando Calrissian - I frigging loved it!!!

If they do it, give him a great script.

One of the weaker Star Wars films since The Force Awakens. No surprises and totally predictable.

It also really doesnt end- there's plenty of lose plotlines that hasnt been resolved.

The only thing I didnt expect was Darth Maul's cameo.

Crap, I was hoping that this one was going to be good. Will probably see it when it hits the reduced price DVD rack. Thanks for the heads up.

was this the ending credits music?

little opie cunningham did a great job stepping in and saving this movie

it was a fun watch, but then it featured chewy and solo, my favorite characters ... after yoda

the replacement actor was not nearly as wooden as harrison ford

Harrison Ford played Solo as a lethal goofball. This new guy lacks both charm and charisma, and isnt funny either.

Aw. Too bad. Still gonna go see it though, never wanna miss a Star Wars movie. Might go see it this weekend.

And holy ****-
's in the movie? Woah.
It was fun and enjoyable. If you're looking for a earth-shaking, Star Wars world changing movie, this isn't it. If you want to enjoy a fun movie about a great character, then this is a great movie to see. I was just hoping that they'd reproduce the scene from ESB where Lando takes the lift up to the top of the Millennium Falcon. I also loved the scene where we first see Han and Chewy sitting in their "traditional" seats on the Falcon.

Some of the "Knights of the Old Republic" comics had some great stories.

I think Star Wars could use a fresh coat of paint, in the sense of getting away from all the stuff surrounding the original trilogy, if they went ahead, said **** it and created a trilogy based on the Knights of the Old Republic games or expanded universe, comics... They may have a winner.

But they have to hire people that know how to write a cohesive narrative that makes sense, I.E. not Rian Johnson.

I'm hearing very mixed things about Solo. I may wait for it to come out on Netflix or something.

Some people are saying it's pretty good, but who knows these days. Opinions for the newer Star Wars movies are all over the place.

The one SW movie you ought to see is Rogue One if youre tired of unoriginal dreck- that was a very good one.

RO felt safe. Too safe. Felt like the truly immediate prequel to A New Hope and nothing more.

Although I was intrigued by Chirrut Imwe (the blind dude)..."I am one with the Force, and the Force is with me..."

I thought about going to see it, but at this point it feels more like a reflex than a desire to see it. I lost motivation when I thought of how disinterested I felt in the franchise after watching the last batch of Star Wars reboot movies. The only interesting one in my opinion was Rogue One. I think I'll pass on Solo.

I'm holding out hope Rian Johnson's trilogy will be better than TLJ.

It was safe, but fun. I also liked the movie focusing more on the sacrifice of the common rebel soldier. Some of those moments hit me hard.

Well based on TLJ, I wouldn't bet any money on it.

He appears to be a moron, at least from the creative choices he showed us in TLJ.

I'm just hoping there will be no annoying Rose-like characters, or anything resembling Canto Bight.
