David Allen Coe banned from another nightclub

He played at the Dosey Doe club in the Woodlands, just north of Houston. Management pissed him off (NOTE: It's easy to piss David off - LOL) so every song he played was from his XXX rated album that's been blacklisted by every radio station in the US. At the end of the night, he was told that he is never welcome back there. He replied "And **** you too", then smiled and left.

I cannot post any of the songs that he played without being banned from DP. LOL. So you will just have to Google him and find out. WARNING - A couple of the songs on the not to be mentioned CD are racist as hell. The rest are just plain old nasty.

I thought he was dead, guess I thought wrong. Was recently listening to his XXX album, Mrs Slingshot demanded I turn it off. Mrs Slingshot often cusses like a boatload of sailors, lol.

The man is a genius.Belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.He needs to sing a few tunes about killing cops and he would be more thought of.

David Allen Coe drinks too much and talks too much to be a decent stage performer judging by the two times that I saw him live. I enjoyed seeing his daughter, Shelli Coe, perform but have not seen her lately - she used to play at Riley's Tavern nearby (Hunter, TX) quite often.
