that was relative to the song length (1:38), not how long it was a #1 hit
apologies for the confusion

but in keeping with a discussion about length of time and staying with beach music:


Rocket 88 is generally recognized as the very first rock n roll song
however, some believe it was this song, because the drum beat was on the 2 and the 4 like most rock (the Rocket 88 drum beat was on the 1 and the 3)
