Not a Britney Spears fan, but I love the bass lines here. I was quite surprised to learn that this song was recorded in Sweden and Tomas Lindberg was the bassist.

Lindberg is a well known Swedish musician who has fronted many death metal bands. I haven't a clue where he picked up this funky yet reserved slap style.

For me, this song is repetition of "Hit me baby one more time". She had another interesting song "Toxic" and that's it...
