Billy Burnette and Rick Vito delivered songs, vocals, and tasty guitar work to this Mac album. Good stuff.

LA-Woman-Morrison-and-Pam-Courson.jpg

Morrison penned this song about the street in Laurel Canyon where he lived with girlfriend Pamela Courson. The couple had a very special and close relationship, yet tumultuous with arguments and infidelities.
On July 3, 1971, she awoke to find Morrison dead in the bathtub of their apartment in Paris. She took his death very hard and moved back to Los Angeles, drowning her sorrow in drugs.
Ms. Courson died of a heroin overdose in April 1974. She was cremated and her ashes interred in a Santa Ana mausoleum where the plaque reads — Pamela Susan Morrison 1946–1974.

The Chambers Brothers - Time Has Come Today

Satan, your kingdom must come down
Satan, your kingdom must come down
I heard the voice of Jesus say
Satan, your kingdom must come down
I'm gonna pray until they tear your kingdom down
Pray until they tear your kingdom down
I heard the voice of Jesus say
Satan, your kingdom must come down
Satan, your kingdom must come down
Satan, your kingdom must come down
I heard the voice of Jesus cry
Satan, your kingdom must come down

Home Free - Auld Lang Syne

Trying out other metal I haven't listened to....

I mean...good singer for metal in terms of tone, etc. Heavy music. But the lyrics. I have to often ignore the lyrics with some of these.

& with different singer (apparently they've had 5 or 6 singers..)
