Actually, the bassist here is Tiran Porter, an original Doobie.

The song above is from 1976. Porter left the Doob's in 1980 and was replaced by Willie Weeks (1980-1982, 1993).

Counting touring musicians, the Doobie Brothers have had 5 different bassists. Currently John Cowan.

Curiously, track 7 off the Obsessed album reminds me quite a bit of one or two songs off Fireball ("No No No" for one, sort of)...



Note: they seem to be linking song-to-song, sometimes mixing in live.
