My favorite Pedal steel Guitar piece-while this is the "jefferson Starship" it was really a compilation of Paul Kantner's good friends about the time that the original Airplane broke up and before the starship really arose. It included David Crosby, Graham Nash, Grace Slick Peter Kaukonen (the brother of the Airplane's original lead guitarist Jorma) and three members of the Grateful Dead, (the two drummers, Hart and Kreutzmann) and Jerry Garcia on Pedal Steel
