Cold Chisel - Flame Trees

Love Page's guitar intro in this song. One of the best guitar intros

Tree beard from their album "Reel Ale" it's "Over the Hills and Far Away".

Cheers.
Evilroddy.

Tho Jimmy Page copyrighted the song, yet it is far older, appearing in John Gay's "A Beggar's Opera," during the 1840's. It was long before an English soldiers' song adopted from a Scottish war ballad. There's an earlier version found among the Acadian people's of Canada's eastern maritime regions and their Cajun cousins of Louisiana and Texas, dating back at least to the early 18th century.

k. d. Lang & Roy Orbison - Crying

Rob Thomas - vocals and piano. The guitar here has a nice tremolo and delay/reverb quality. The bass guitar sounds like a fretless model. Recorded at Disney Studies and no individual credits are available.
