Christone "Kingfish" Ingram is a brilliant young blues guitar player from Clarksdale, Mississippi. Many believe that Kingfish is the most exciting blues guitar prospect that we have seen in many years. What do you think? I hope you enjoy this compilation of blues guitar solos from Christone Kingfish Ingram!

Cowboy Junkies from their late night talk show tour.

The bass part here is played by Doors keyboardist Ray Manzarek on a Fender Rhodes Piano Bass. It is a separate track on a 4-track recording machine. There is undue sound distortion (bad mic placement) and notes suddenly drop out at times. I personally think the decision to use the gimmicky piano bass at all was a production mistake as Electra Records had hired the excellent session musician Larry Knechtel of the Wrecking Crew as the bass guitarist on many tracks for this initial Doors album. The song Light My Fire originally featured only the piano bass. It sounded so bad (no punch) that Larry Knechtel played Manzarek's exact piano bass notes on a bass guitar. So on that song, there is a double-bass mix going o.
