not one you hear much -even on SR

I don't think I'd see them today, but twenty years ago they were going strong....at least during those concerts they captured on Stripped.

saw them at Cincinnati in 89-steel wheels tour. Very good. Living Color opened for them: wish LC had lasted a bit longer-some real talent there

From Boz Scaggs' new album "Out of the Blues...

From Dee snider's new album "For the Love of Metal"...

I saw Boz Scaggs a few years ago at live blues concert. He was one of many great artists on the bill. To be honest I was looking for him to wow me. Was I ever wrong. He was terrific. I've been a big fan ever since.

Isn't he great? I saw him, too, many years ago...have been a fan ever since!

Kansas City was a huge hit. Here's another from Wilbert Harrison I've always like. Nice beat as well, good lyrics and a nice saxophone bridge. In my opinion Harrison styled his songs, never too much, just enough.

In addition to being a creative songwriter, Matt was recognized by the industry as a guitar great after winning a national guitar contest hosted by BB King and John Mayer through Guitar Center and Guitar World Magazine. Matt beat out over 4,000 competitors to win the grand prize which consisted of multiple guitars, an endorsement from Gibson, a shopping spree at Guitar Center and a new car from Scion. This major accomplishment was the spark that jumpstarted his career and gave his band momentum for their future success.

Growing up on influencers ranging from Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Rory Gallagher, ZZ Top, Robin Trower, Joe Walsh and Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Matt O'Ree Band has taken all these diverse elements and forged a new iron.
