A great show comes back and proves to be just as relevant as ever. I was skeptical as I heard Barr had voted for Trump. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I guess I should not have been that shocked. She illustrates the political issues as they apply to her family in the show and surprise, surprise- everybody wins. It was brilliant, healing comedy. I loved it. I'll be tuning in next week too, even though Roseanne voted for Trump. If you haven't seen it yet, you should.

We need more of this in the world.

How did they get past Dan dying the last series finale?

Her show wasn't funny before so I don't plan to waste time on it now.
 
Eh, can't stand her, never watched the show when it was on the first time...white trash humor doesn't get me.

To each his own. I just put it out there. I loved it as I have a, as you call it "white trash family" myself. I think that's pretty short-sighted, but OK.
 
Don't like her at all.

But if it will help me understand Trump voters, I'll give it a try. We can't keep overlooking 1/3 of the country. Look what it got us!

Dan wasn't dead in the finale. The last season was all just a dream, remember? Dan is next to her in bed when she wakes up.
 
I thought it was cute. I liked the political quips they threw back n forth. They were gentle and loving more than the typical anger and hate.

That was kinda one of the show themes. The characters kinda humanize the politics.
