Maniac, the new Netflix 10-episode series (with Sci-Fi touches) that is available now, is simply amazing. Funny (black humor), terrifying, suspenseful (drags a little in the middle episodes but picks up again for the final ones), poignant, thought-provoking, creative, unconventional, all at the same time. This is one of the best TV series I've ever watched, and no, I don't own Netflix stock and I'm not associate with them in any way, shape, or form.
An added bonus is that Emma Stone looks stunning in it. All the actors do very well. It's hugely entertaining; a must-watch. I'm surprised that Netflix achieved this level of production quality, already.
Someone above recommended The Expanse. I concur. It is excellent.
I also liked the two seasons of The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime. Season 3 will be available on October 5.
I also like Colony but it was a bit more interesting when we didn't know much about the aliens. Now it is dragging a little. Well, [spoiler - stop reading if you haven't seen it], there is now a new species of aliens so maybe it will get better again, next season.
