Finished the first episodes of:

Altered Carbon: Very similar to Blade Runner in style, but I guess that was intentional. Not a fan of the lead actor, but the plot is somewhat engaging so far so I'll keep watching.

Babylon Berlin- German TV show (the Germans are catching up with good quality stuff on TV these days) about Berlin in the last years of the Wiemar Republic. I was a big fan of the first 3 seasons of Boardwalk Empire so it's pretty interesting. 2 Seasons are already out so this should keep me going until Man in the High Castle Season 3 comes out.

Generally, I like shows that are non political, lighthearted and don't preach, so I'm surprised that I like this.
9-1-1

The End Of The F *** ing World is pretty darn good.

If you liked that show I recommend Generation War, it stars the same actor but is about 5 German friends in their early 20s and how they experienced World War II including combat on the Eastern Front. I find it really interesting because it shows a different perspective of the war than what we get in the former Allied powers.

I had to download a version with English subtitles though.

Also weirdly Babylon Berlin is not available on German or Swiss Netflix it seems, despite it being German.

I’ll second Altered Carbon. It gets better as it goes along

I like it, too, Lovebug. It's not getting good reviews, which surprised me, but also prepared me for a cancellation. Just in case it happens.

I burn through Stranger Things each time the season is released. I want to immerse myself in Black Mirror, but don't have the time right now, and after watching the first couple of episodes, I feel like this is the kind of TV show that you can't just burn through. You're going to want to watch an episode, sit, think about it, swirl it around in your mouth like a nice sip of cognac, think about it some more, and then move on.

I used to watch Longmire, and really enjoyed it. Netflix picked it up when it was dropped by AMC, which was fine, but it just finished its final season. I felt like I'd lost a friend when I watched the final episode. :(

Also loved Hell on Wheels, which is also on Netflix now.

Black Mirror hasn't been said yet, so Black Mirror.

Edit: Dangit!

The first two episodes of Altered Carbon bored me to tears. Haven't gone back.

Gotham is a good TV show, too. Nice to get a look look at the origins of Batman and his adversaries (The Penguin, Poison Ivy, The Joker).

Oh, and I also recommend Colony. It's a very good TV show set in Los Angeles, with humans under Alien occupation. I really like the story, especially the political aspect, as well as the unique way they handle aliens. And it has some very good action scenes. Can't wait for Season 3.

Was going to say Altered Carbon when I saw the thread title, lol. Loved it so much went out and got the books.

Billions Season 3 is coming out this month. Paul Giamatti is a straight badass...

I recommend Z-Nation. It's ridiculous in every sense of the word, but once you learn to embrace the ridiculousness of the show, it becomes very enjoyable.

I dunno. I about zombied out. I am only watching TWD because my daughter is such a fan, and it's something that she and I have always watched together. If she didn't watch it, I'd kind of give up on it. I've watched from day one, and it's just not that interesting to me anymore.

Watching Kelly Siegler and her team of investigators on Cold Justice would be my recommendation.

I still watch TWD, but it feels like more of a chore at this point, than something I actually want to watch. I remember bingewatching the first 3 seasons with my GF, and that got me so hooked on the show, and I loved the 4th, and 5th Seasons. But ever since that fake-out from the end of Season 6, I've never felt the same way about the show. It sucks to see the quality of the show drop so low. It's really disheartening. Everything, from the camera angles, to the dialogue, to the action scenes, are just so bad now.

I started to watch Z-Nation because I wanted an alternative. And I am enjoying it. Sure, it has zombies, but the show for the most part is very humorous and fun, making it very enjoyable. And pretty much every episode is fresh and new, and it doesn't feel like it's being dragged out or spinning it's wheels in the mud like TWD is. FTWD is good too, but I'm cautious on how Season 4 is gonna go.

Love "The Americans" but, alas, it's in it's final season. [See on FX or Amazon prime]

Also for something strange, check out "Fortitude" on Amazon.[2 seasons]

I never even attempted Colony because I had enough of that lead actor on LOST

I'm watching Looming Tower on HULU. Excellent.
The Good Fight, which is a continuation of The Good Wife, really surged in its first season.

Ive seen Generation War, thanks. you ought to try Dark- its another German TV series thats a cross between Stranger Things and Back to the Future.

Yeah, actually I believe Sneaky Pete season 2 comes out today. Fun show.
I dont like the lead actor in that on either lol

I watched the first season and I kinda liked it, but the ending was too far out, man.

Prehistoric wasps? Seriously? lol

Try "Future Man" on Hulu. A great mix of humor, sci fi, and historical references.

No , he’s not in it.

It stars Angela Bassett, , Connie Britton, Peter Krause, Oliver Stark, Aisha Hinds. The show Explores the high-pressure experiences of police , a 911 operator , paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping sceans...
