Basically list your favorite TV shows by decade, caveat being as you remember watching it in that decade. So, if you liked the old MASH reruns, but never watched the show in the 70's, that no counts.

1960's: Mr Ed; Perry Mason (yeah, I had some pretty diverse tastes, even as a kid.

1970's: Charlie's Angels; Starsky & Hutch

1980's: Dallas; were there any other shows in the 80's?

1990's: Law & Order; Law & Order

2000's:: The Wire; Law & Order

2010's: Cold Justice

70's All In The Family - Mash - Good Times - Mary Tyler Moore Show - The Rockford Files - The Waltons - Baretta

80's Cheers - Magnum PI - Moonlighting

80s: Cheers
90s: Star Trek:TNG
00s: The Office (US)

Those are my personal favorite. Some cross decades but I ignored that.

90's: Quantum Leap; American Gothic

60's - Andy Griffith, Bonanza, Hogan's Heroes, I Dream of Jeanie, McHale's Navy, Adam's Family, Jetson's, Beverly Hillbillies.....too many more to name

70's - Adam 12, Emergency, Barney Miller, Mork and Mindy, Charlie's Angels, Love Boat, MASH, Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Welcome Back Kotter....lots of others

80's - A Team, Greatest American Hero, Airwolf, Dukes of Hazard...TV started to suck

90's - X files, Home improvement...TV continued to suck

I forgot about Bonanza. Great show.

Emergency was one of my favorites too.

X Files for sure

Yeah, TV turned to ****.

1980s: Three's Company

Oddly enough, I learned to appreciate that show through reruns....and lots of pot. Same applies to Golden Girls.

But, I did fail to remember my absolute favorite show of the 80's, if not all time: Hill Street Blues.

1980s: Three's Company

That was a good show. Suzanne Somers was one of the best ditzy blondes in the business.

I don't remember whether it was 70's or 80's but I also used to like Alice. Flo and her "Kiss my grits!" will be stuck in my head forever.

1970s: The Jeffersons and Good Times. I learned a lot about the African American world through those shows. I suspect many other non-African Americans had the same experience. I think these were pivotal shows in humanizing this demographic in the post-civil rights era and getting rid of a lot of racism in the US (not enough though, apparently).

And don't forget the sort of related show: All In The Family. Archie Bunker was brilliant (who knew he was going to become president?). It was biting social satire.

Also, 1990s: The Cosby Show (Yeah, yeah, I know: Bill Cosby turned out to be a sleaze ball. But hey, we didn't know at the time. It was a well-written show, and everyone else acted very nicely).
And Friends was all the craze then too.

Has anyone seen the show George Lopez? I saw a few episodes, and they actually seemed pretty good. Very poignant and raw plots sometimes.

So hard to pick just a few each year.

50's: The Honeymooners and Perry Mason, though these were reruns I watched.

60's: I Dream of Jeannie, Star Trek, Rat Patrol, It Takes a Thief, Hogan's Heroes, Wild Wild West, Lost in Space, Mission Impossible, and The Carol Brunette show

70's: M*A*S*H, Welcome Back Kotter, Dukes of Hazard, Mork and Mindy, Six Million Dollar Man, and Starsky and Hutch.

80's: Star Trek the Next Generation, Airwolf, China Beach, and Wiseguy

90's: Dharma and Greg, Charmed, Seven Days, Babylon 5, Farscape, Stargate, Lois and Clark, Star Trek Voyager, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, JAG, The West Wing, Kung Fu: The Legend Continue, 3rd Rock from the Sun, X-Files, and The Pretender

00's: Enterprise, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate Atlantis, Smallville, Ghost Whisperer, Fringe, True Blood, Dexter, Boston Legal, Dollhouse, Eureka, Firefly, Andromeda, The Unit, and Merlin

10's so far: Lucifer, Game of Thrones, The Orville, Star Trek Continues, Limitless, and Nikita

I probably missed a few.

Saw a few. Good show, just not my style.

Oh...

Star Trek continues is not a TV show. It can be found on Youtube though:

I think only YouTube has the 11 episodes, which continue the 5 year mission.

I was all into the Six Million Dollar Man when it was on but I saw a rerun of it a few months ago and, DAMN what a horrible show. I mean, Wonder Woman was hokey but it had Lynda Carter. All the Six Million Dollar man had was "nananananan" as he bent the barrel of a rifle or outran a car.

1970s: Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies.

I used to love those shows as a kid.

Yes, times have changed, and we have matured. There are several shows I used to love, abut are too corny for me now. Like Gilligan's Island.

Again, a totally hokey show but it had Dawn Wells and Tina Louise.

Hmm...maybe that was my thing. Maybe I just liked the women and didn't care too much about the show. I had a thing for Lauren Tewes....and Valerie Bertinelli and Loni Anderson and Mary Tyler Moore and Susan Dey and....Holey Smokes! I was addicted!

Veronica Hamel, Barbara Eden, Angie Dickenson, Linda Carter, Donna Mills, Morgan Fairchild...all the "Angels."

Hard to choose so I just picked top 2 from each decade

80s: Alf and TMNT
90s: Star Trek DS9 and The X-Files
00s: The Wire and The Sopranos
10s: Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead
