So they decided less than two months before release that they could not tolerate Spacey in their movie, so they spent at least $10 million probably more like $15 million remaking it, ending up with a crap movie that has pulled in $30 million in 16 days and is dying fast....It is going to lose a lot of money..... more than one review has said "The best thing about this movie is that they did the Politically Correct thing and paid to cut Spacey out (paraphrase, maybe)"......

Now they get jammed hard for not being politically correct on the reshoot:

Celebrities are rushing to Michelle Williams’ defense following a report that she was paid over 1000 times less than Mark Wahlberg to reshoot scenes of “All The Money In The World.”

Sources told USA Today that Wahlberg earned $1.5 million for the reshoot while Williams only received an $80 per diem that amounted to less than $1,000.

Actress and activist Amber Tamblyn called the reported pay gap “totally unacceptable.” Producer Judd Apatow called the story “so messed up that it is almost hard to believe.” Jessica Chastain, who is currently starring in the Golden Globe-nominated “Molly’s Game,” said Williams is a “brilliant” actress who “deserves more.

They should have left it alone, maybe the picture would have been better, and they surely would have lost less money.

Should we be surprised that a right wing supporter of Trump enjoys it when those who take action against a pedophile encounter misfortune?

This is such nonsense. This isn't a "gender pay gap" issue. This is Michelle Williams agreeing to work for nothing while Wahlberg didn't:

Williams told USA Today that she agreed to forgo a salary on the reshoots because she “appreciated so much that they were making this massive effort” to recast the role. Both actors are represented by the same talent agency, William Morris Endeavor.

Wahlberg didn't feel the same and held out for money. Simple as that.

Almost certainly you are right, but I am interested in this idea that I have seen over and over in America that those who try to be pure enough for the New Puritans rarely seem to get judged as good enough, no matter how much we give at the office it is never good enough for the Moral Minders, the more we give in to them the more they attack, and so I think in this case they should have just released the movie that they had, even though Spacey was in it.

Not only that, "Star Power" is also important when it comes to negotiating wages for doing a film.

Wahlburg has a vaster body of work with proven success as a box office draw, not to mention his musical career and other lesser acting credits.

This would be like comparing Emma Stone who is currently top dollar...

with Ashton Kutchner, who is not...

Meanwhile, all actors know their time is short in the box-office value market. Old school big names don't get much now because they've aged out. I have no problem with any actor (male or female) trying to get all they are worth while the getting is good.

They never know when they'll turn into a Nicholas Cage.

Also there are a certain number of days of reshoots written into the contract, but once they are used up and I understand that most/all had been used before the Spacey Rub Out was decided upon nobody has to do anymore.....Wahlburg is in high demand, I dont think Williams is, she barely works anymore, this likely impacted Wahlburg a lot more, and so he demanded compensation where as Williams just went along playing the good girl.

But she does have representation, she has a team, she had options and one hopes good advise...I dont feel that she was victimized, but if she was it was by her own people mostly.

Reality is not as important as the perception of reality.
