So yesterday I was watching on Netflix what turned out to be yet another poorly written poorly acted maybe 8th grade thinking tops pieces of nonsense (currently 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, but of course it IS filmed in Austin) for about 13 minutes, and it was too ridiculous to stand, I mean it is like finger nails on the chalkboard for guys like me, all I can think about is how this represents the collapse of civilization.....but it looks awesome on the screen as most of these pieces of crap do........

So I turned off the sound, and watched it all.

I recommend the practice.

"Mr Roosevelt" it was.

You've named almost all of the things that go through our heads when we read your posts. Perhaps you can learn from their mistakes and not just pump out low quality content just because you can.

I know right......Hollywood has never had more product and also never has a higher percentage of it been crap..... because this is America @2018.

Remember that writers strike? And the studios "win"? This is what that winning looks like.

The best talent left, and work for themselves now.

As for remakes, creativity died because Hollywood is an investment now, and has therefor become risk averse. And "new" is risky business.

I love how this thread is turning out. :lamo
