From TMZ:

Jerry's best known for his role on "Coach"--where he earned 4 Emmy nominations playing Asst. Coach Luther Van Dam alongside Craig T. Nelson. He also had major roles on "Yes, Dear" and most recently "The Middle." TMZ

Rest in Peace, Jerry Van Dyke.

I remember him for many years before COACH where he really tried hard to make it but always seemed on the cusp but could never really make that final push. He was always in the shadow of him much more talented brother. I was glad to see him succeed in COACH and finally get the recognition his talent deserved.

A good and long life was his reward.

Have always thought Jerry was the more comedic of the two brothers.

Here is interview with David Letterman. If you don't laugh at this then stick a fork in you.
Loved him on Coach.

His only work I was familiar with was on Coach and he was great in that. Thanks for the laughs, Jerry.
