I am excited for The Last Jedi, Thor: Ragnarok, and Justice League. I can't wait to see those when they come out.

Mostly excited for TLJ, though. Star Wars is too good to pass up.

Im looking forward to Murder on the orient express one of my favorite mysteries. And Justice League, I'm hoping it does well so maybe we can get a live action Justice League: tower of babel.

I'm just hoping it's not suck like Batman v Superman

Can anybody make a movie that is not a comic book or a sequel?

It is as if originality deserted Hollywood decades again favor of comic book film with lots of noise and lots of action and very little actual speech which makes any sense at all.

That's what I'm scared of. I have security in Marvel movies, in that it will at least be decent. I can't say the same for DC's recent track of movies.

Hopefully it will be good.

Marvel, BAD TV, great movies.
DC, GREAT TV, bad movies.

That's the general rule so far.

Marvel, sans the Netflix stuff, hasn't really done much worth watching. While DC, with the exception of Wonder Woman, has been meh to bleah at the box office, but their shows... Arrow, Flash, Gotham... LOVE EM.

They all look like pretty passable drek, even Star Wars in its own way, but in its specific case I need to see how the story ends and what Snoke's deal is.

Also I'm hoping Kylo actually ends up coming off as a badass instead of petulant/troubled child (which to be fair isn't far from the truth) with a few great moments.

I love the psychological aspect of Jigsaw...very intriguing...I've watched all of them several times...

I can't believe no one wants to see Jumani, it's a classic tale of adults pretending to be kids in a hyper realized environment with way too many CGI effects and no real endearing story!

Thor and Star Wars

Justice League might be okay, it's a coin toss on that one.

Robin Williams is dead. He owned that movie. I fear Jumanji will be as dumb as every sequel to Jurassic Park.

This is actually a pretty recent phenomenon with movies. It wasn't until the Avenger series movies that Marvel really took over the movies. Before then the Batman and Superman movies were superior and I am far more of a Marvel fan. I do agree DC tv series have been epic, I never cared for Superman and Green Arrow but loved the Arrow and Smallville.

Batman was done when they gave him nipples. Superman sucked after the original.

I do enjoy Gotham but I am afraid they are about to jump the shark.

Maybe, maybe not. Have you seen the Flash? That's a fun fun series to catch up on. I'm waiting for them to hit video and I'll scoop up the series

No, I haven't. My wife loves Arrow. I just can't get into the 472 different comic book series out there right now.

Didnt even like Robin's one and if he cant deliver then a remake will be garbage.

On the way: The Gifted, Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, The Punisher (TV), New Mutants.

Marvel is trying every avenue, multiple networks, genres, and online--Hulu and Netflix.

I enjoyed Flash at first but it got old after a few seasons and there were some things that seemed rather ridiculous.

Unfortunately Hollywood is purely under the influence of what makes money. If they create a new IP and it does poorly; from a business standpoint it is a blunder. That is because they could have made Superman 37 that would guarantee generous profits, instead they took a big loss.

It's the same thing with the fantasy genre, just like reality tv a couple decades ago. Once they find something hot they exploit it relentlessly until it quits making money. So again they go with what is a safe money maker. I absolutely hate fantasy and action movies so I basically have given up on tv and movies for the most part.
