Country- Cajun- Folk and such
Grew up listening to Country music, always heard lots of fiddle music, along with the mouth organ (harmonica).
Add in folk and Cajun and you get some mighty fine music.
So pls feel free to post your favorites

And my how it has changed over the decades

LOVEW Doug Kershaw the Louisiana Man!!!! Glad to see you feature him.

A few years ago we went to New Orleans in early December - and what a great time to go - and we ate dinner at some place which started with the letter M. They had a cajun band and this young couple was dancing up a storm looking like something right out of a Hollywood movie. They were that good. Now I have ever been much of a dancer but I could see where that would be loads and loads of fun.

I play Cajun fiddle. Here is my favourite Cajun fiddler.

As close as I can come is good (old?) red dirt country

down in Mamou they don't do English for 'cajun' music

please be nice to my family members & to my 'friends' when you're down visitin' in cajun country :peace

and while you're down in Mamou stop over in Eunice for some of the BEST pecan wood smoked sausage you will ever have the pleasure to enjoy
