[R.I.P.] Don Williams

I liked his music. Still listen to it today. He will be missed.

Rest in peace.

There are a handful of classic country music singers that remind me of my father, who also was a country music singer. Don Williams always has reminded me of my father.

RIP, Mr. Williams. You were one of the good ones. :(

And Troy Gentry in a helicopter crash at 50 ... R.I.P. to both ...

From NPR:

Don Williams, who began a long career in country music as a Nashville songwriter in the early 1970s and who entered the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2010, died today at his home in Alabama following a short illness, a publicist confirmed to NPR. He was 78.

Classic country song from Don Williams......lost love and loneliness, cigarettes and coffee....

RIP

This is one of my favorites. Sigh. Thank you very much for sending me this, and I hope you posted the clip on the R.I.P. thread too for others to (I hope) appreciate.
