Just started binge watching this and its awesome- my current favorite TV series along with Man in the High Castle and Game of Thrones.



I like how they completely pivoted since the first 2 seasons was about Pablo Escobar. Now that Escobar is dead it focuses on his successors in the drug business, the Cali cartel in the 1990's. If youre curious just how (in)effective the drug war really is you have to watch this show because it shows how everything started and just how hopeless it all is. I heard the series will keep going until it covers the Mexican cartels. Good stuff.
 
Just started watching season 3 yesterday and got the first 3 episodes done, love it so far! This show really is amazing and I was worried about how it would continue after Pablo's death, but they managed to continue it without skipping a beat. Let's see if I can get in another few episodes on this fine Sunday.
 
Are you guys going to watch the series about El Chapo?

I don't need to as we lived it here. When I say that, I mean he was hold out 1 block from my sons school. Heck, they still have cops guarding that house even after a year has passed. I don't know why and neither do the officers that drew house sitting duty.

Which series are you referring to? Anything on the drug war always interests me as long as its told well.

There is a series, or maybe it is a movie, about El Chapo, I think it is called "El Chapo".
