I only ever got into one album of this group "Ammonia Avenue."

So you're an axe-man then?

Goes back to when I was in Jr High band. There was this hot girl that played Saxophone, so I will ever after associate Sax with Saxy. :)

Could be all time! Damn I'm old!

Not necessarlily solos but good sax, none the less.

Excellent video of the Doors! The guitar player seems to have a shiner? Who was the sax player?

Sax player: Curtis Amy

PS I remember the AJAX commercial from the early sixties,,,"stronger than dirt!"

we played this song at our wedding in June for my parents' anniversary dance. Mom saw them play live in the 1960s in Virginia. i grew up listening to Junior Walker records thanks to Mom. Cleo's Mood and Cleo's Back are also awesome tunes.
