We watched the first couple of episodes but lost interest...to us it was really boring...a whole lotta talking and little action...

Well remember - if they solved the asteroid problem in the first couple of episodes, there'd be no series to watch. I really do love all the plot developments and twists, which really give a lot of suspense and intrigue to keep your attention. It has a moment-by-moment pacing that reminds me of 24. And I like all the cool references to real life space tech, along with the fact that it's set in the near future.

Sorry - just saw this thread. I have watched from day one, and I honestly have found it excruciatingly boring. I am all for apocalyptic, end of the world shows, and had high hopes for this one. I am going to finish it - one more episode. I was just very disappointed in it. Could have been so much better.
