On DP? The only people really outspoken against this kind of stuff end up banned, so you pretty much only end up with liberal male feminists that will take anything that happens to men as cool.

Have you considered that perhaps their childishness is responsible for the things that happen to them, and not everyone else on the planet? Or would that be too much like being a grown-up?

There is nothing sillier than someone talking about how manly and/or badass they are while anonymous on the internet; threats are even sillier.

You've said all sorts of things that your anonymous status protects you from. For example, your many threads about how manscaping is girly. You wouldn't say that to Hollyfield, now would you? What if it turned out he trimmed down there? What if Mayweather shaves completely? What if you said it in a bar where multiple patrons manscaped?

I cannot believe that you go around saying all the things you say here, out in public.






Drop the faux indignation. And frankly, leave the thread; you don't even watch the show so what the hell do you care?

All I want to say is give the lady a chance, she may rock the role of the Doctor. Just like we should give the new writer a chance because let's be honest, the writing did not really "shine" over the past few seasons either. Don't get me wrong, most episodes where really enjoyable but classics like "Blink" or the last episode of Amy and Rory with the weeping angels has not been achieved during the reign of the 12th doctor.

I loved the running, he loved to run. But he was also ruthless if it had to be, he did not joke around. Like when he just regenerated and destroyed the prime minister reign with just a few words "don't you think she looks tired". Or when the Queen of the Racnoss came to earth to unleash her children on the Universe (first episode with Donna Noble).

I also really liked Clara Oswald, was really sad when they ended her part in the series.

Very necessary, Most of seasons 8 and 9 were trash and 10 was saved by Bill.

Claire got convoluted, but at least she wasn't horse face Rose. I think my favorite companion was Donna. Not because she was all that redeemable, but she was part of some of the best Tennant episodes...

I am different in that, I liked Rose, she was the one who the Doctor really loved. And Donna was great fun, especially in her first episode when she just turned up in the Tardis.

But then again I am a fan of Catherine Tate anyway so I was really happy to see her in Doctor Who.

This last season wasn't bad at all. I think what was dragging most of capaldi's run was the way Moffet was writing the Clara/Doctor relationship. It sucked. Jenna Coleman really was great in the Asylum of the Dalaks, and that Christmas special.. but I think Moffet screwed things up pretty much after that. The season will the Doctor and Bill Potts got away from that.. and was Moffet's best season as a director. The Orient express episode was decent, and the 50th anniversary episode was great. But, in general, the Clara/Doctor relationship held things back.

I think changing a characters gender is stupid... just write new characters. Kill off the old Dr. Who and write in a female that takes over, that is no big deal but the character is a male. I also think changing the race is stupid but far less so. There was talk of James Bond being played by Idris Elba. A great actor. Cool. Tough. Black. If they want to do that that is fine... just kill of the current 007 and make Idris 004 or something.

Superman is a man. Wonder Woman is a woman.

If a character is not really set in certain ways, like Zulu on Star Trek... then that is fine. They made him gay in the last movie because the actor that played him in the original series is gay in real life. They did the same with the new Dark Tower movie. Roland I think was supposed to be white in the book, although I read it 8 times or so I really can't remember if King wrote him white or if I just assumed he was white. Well, Idris Elba is playing him in the movie. That seems cool to me. All good and it looks awesome.

If women want to watch cool strong female roles then that is great. I am glad they made Wonder Woman finally... my daughters love it... just make new characters rather than hi-jack male ones.

I said the world needs more women in power, not less, the doctor is fantasy and is not included in this statement because she wields no real power, she is just make belief.
