The Best hard rock band in US history

Pantera and Clutch will be. Massively influential bands.

I will be honest, Until I subscribed to satellite radio I never had heard anything by clutch. in fact most of the bands you cite, I have never ever heard of. And my 19 year old son who has about 25 concerts including some of the big festivals hasn't heard of some of the stuff you talk about

Some truly amazing songs.

Dave Grohl is an enigma.

Drummer for Nirvana.
Lead Singer, songwriter, guitarist for Foo Fighters.

Just unbelievable quantities of talent.

His acoustic version of Everlong still gives me chills.

I just rediscovered Walk and its one of my favorites right now. Im having fun learning to play along in Rocksmith. They have a lot of great songs, and will certainly end up in Hall of Fame next to Tupac.

Walk is amazing!

Well, my favorite hard rock bands come from the UK and Europe so that is a bit difficult.

But if we just count American bands than my favorites are:

Alice Cooper

Kiss

Slayer

Van Halen

Boston

Rage against the Machine

Suicidal Tendencies

Marilyn Manson

Faith No More
