Kinda song-specific.

I saw the Bella Donna Tour with Tom Petty opening....It was pretty awesome. She does not have much of a voice but she sure knows how to use it.

Stevie sounds like a sheep bleating for its mother, was never a fan, unless I am in the mood for lamb.

I voted awesome but then she had a starring role in many of my overheated, teenage fantasies so I might be a little biased.

Stevie Nicks. Stevie Nicks' voice, specifically.

Awesome?

Meh?

Like screeching cats in heat?

Depends on when we are talking about.

1977? Awesome times 10.

2017? Go away, please.

I'm quite fond of Gold Dust Woman, but I can't stand Landslide.

I think Landslide is her best song--at least the ones I have heard. I am sure she did others but she is almost as old as my grandmother so I cannot say that I know all things Stevie.

When it comes to her solo stuff, I think I like this one the best

I like the song. I like the covers of it better than the original. A lot of times I have seen videos of her singing it, she made Bob Dylan seem like a great enunciater.

She does have that quality lol

This is near the top of my favorite songs that she wrote.

Not really a Stevie song, certainly mostly Lindsey. But Fleetwood Mac nonetheless.

I used to hate Tusk for some reason. But, 30 years later, I find that it was actually quite a good piece.

Agreed. That's my favorite if her solo tunes as well.

My current band covers Rhiannon which I love - and really enjoy playing. Audiences really dig the song too.

We've also covered Dreams but that got a ho-hum response so we stopped doing it.

She's too alto to sound like a screeching cat, but her voice always stepped on my last nerve, and it didn't help that guys have always thought she was so hot and acted like tomcats in heat about her. I just never got what guys saw in her.

Now Bonnie Raitt then and now? There's a woman!

The original version of Silver Springs - her voice, the song and the guitar arrangements almost make me cry. THAT is e'ffing hard to do. Song specific, but on some of that classic Fleetwood Mac stuff she just kills.

Stevie is a bit nasal but I love her music and voice

My favorite song from her

In her prime with Fleetwood Mac and her solo career her voice was great.

I always rated Christine McVeigh's voice better of the two. I don't rate her in the same league as Sandy Denny, Maddy Prior, Linda Ronstadt or Annie Haslam-All contemporaries of hers. But Lindsay Buckingham wrote stuff that really helped Stevie's voice. My favorite being this one

she has a beautiful voice.

I was significantly more impressed with her song writing ability, her straightforward interviews and her looks than her singing voice.

I find these old Demos to be awesome.

Wow! This is better than the studio version, IMO.
