With the passing of Chuck Berry I figure now is as good a time as any to delve into the roots of Rock and Roll. It began with the Boogie Woogie and the Jump Blues with maybe a touch of country but mostly Rock and Roll was an attitude. Let's crank up the speakers, kick off our shoes and dance up a little attitude!

I feel like rock and roll could be blues and swing combined, although I never hear early rock and rollers praising swing...it's usually just the blues.
