Well, this takes guts...

Outside of the EPA, the rest aren't exactly extreme positions. Most polls shows the immigration and Muslim Ban stuff is pretty mainstream and to an extent bipartisan. I have heard many liberals that even support it, I think a majority disagree with the way he goes about it but it is less to do with policy and more about how he is rolling it out.

I think of building a border wall and travel bans as extreme measures, not extremely conservative. That is just how I see it from my perspective, obviously others see it differently.

I do think you are spot on though that it is more about how he is doing things than what he is doing. Honestly I don't take any huge issues with what he has done so far policy wise. Why I can't and can never get behind him even on the issues we do agree on is his attitude towards the media. Saying the news is biased and partisan is one thing, but now he is claiming that all negative news is fake news, and that the entire industry can't be trusted. I consider the media as a core pillar of a democracy and attacking it in such a way seems reckless.
